We move your data for you

Switching systems is the reason most churches stay on software they have outgrown. So we do the migration ourselves — free, on every plan, typically inside a week.

Send us what you have
An export from your current system, a pile of spreadsheets, or a photo of the card index. We have started from all three.

We map the fields
Our team matches your columns to ChurchHub fields and tells you plainly what has no home — usually a handful of custom fields we then create for you.

You review a dry run
We import into a sandbox copy of your church and send you the result: how many people, families, donations and groups landed, plus every row that needs a decision.

We go live
Once you're happy, we run the real import — usually on a weekday evening so nothing is half-migrated on a Sunday. Your old system stays untouched.

What we’ll tell you honestly

Some things never transfer cleanly, and we would rather say so before you switch than surprise you afterwards.

Free-text pastoral notes arrive as notes, but any structure your old system gave them is usually lost. Bespoke reports have to be rebuilt. Documents and photos come over only where your existing system can export them — several cannot.

Nothing is deleted from your old system by us, and you keep the dry-run report, so you can always check what moved.

Getting started

Start a trial first so you have somewhere for the data to land, then email help@chhub.app with your export attached. Most churches also book a training session for the week the data goes live.
